I made another day trip to my local haunt - surprisingly, today was overcast, cool, and even damp due to a few sprinkles.

Rigged up the 2 weight and walked up river.



Picked up a few smaller - 6 or 8 inch trout but managed to hook into some nice fish as well.



I landed two of the largest trout I've caught on this river...both slammed the foam bodied parachute stimulator pattern I've been using as of late, putting quite a bend in the 2 weight. One is in the pic below and one that was a big larger with some serious shoulders slid out of hand before the camera made it out of my pocket.



Fished for a few hours, ended on a high note after bringing a solid 12 inch redside to hand...great day.
